Just songs. No videos at all. I had decided to put them all on CD anyway in case of a crash or some other unforseen situation. Once I do that then I can put them in any player and they will work. Thanks for the heads up on Quick Time. I had thought about that and that is why putting them all on CD is what is best for now. I have got them all on an external storage device now. I am non-stop burning CD's. Heck, I really needed to do this anyway so this whole situation actually has forced my hand and now it will get done. I borrowed a friends burner and now can burn 5 at a time. It is really cool what can be done when one has too learn and find out. Like I said by the end of the weekend I should be done with the burning and then I don't care if I ever have Quick Time or Itunes again. Who do you use to get your music from? I still like to get new music but do not want to be trapped with an Itunes situation again. Peace, 74

well i found the boards kinda late but i agree with Echo. get the kazaa lite mega codec pack which includes media player classic my fav thing about it is you can stretch the video to fill your monitor viewing area. VLC is also great , both play 99% of media files on the net and there both safe to use. if you need something to covert audio files or some free video tools i have been using programs from this site for a for months now and find them to be safe. www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Audio-Converter.htm
