Thanks guys. Unfortunately it's kind of a ShaZammmmty day. My dad passed away early Tuesday morning. I woke up around 6 and went in to check on him and he was gone. So I called the hospice people and the funeral home so they could pick him up. Called all my family I needed to call. Then shut of my cell phone and climbed on that new bike he bought and rode all day. i rode north-west up to Inverness to visit my best friend and his kids I haven't seen in awhile. Then I rode west over to the Crystal River Preserve state park on the Gulf coast. Then I rode South across Tampa Bay and then Charolette Harbor and down to Fort Meyers. Then came back up and across northeast. The back way up through the the little cow towns and giant ranches in south-west Florida. Dotted with a few thousand lakes. And then back up to St. Cloud. I just got back at around 5:00 a.m. I rode about 600 miles. Was a beautiful day with perfect weather. About 72 degrees and sunny. Good breeze. Thought about all the great rides and great times I got to share with him. Very bitter sweet day. I'm glad he isn't suffering and in pain anymore. But 55 is just way way too young to die man. I'm just glad i was here in Florida when he got sick. With everything I went through taking care of business and making sure everything was paid for, I cringe to think about people who have nobody.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR FRIEND PAUL AND MAY YOU HAVE MANY, MANY MORE. ;D My sincere condolences on the passing of your father. And yes he was way to young to go. As I read your sonet to your father the tears filled my eyes and my mind moved to mine who passed about 4 years ago. I still long to pick up the phone and give him a call or just drop over to visit and gain some wisdom from. I still think of the times he so patiently helped me fix the car or do other things together. And you will be blessed in so many ways for your sacrifice and selfless service to your father in his last days. You are a great son and should feel proud of that. Attachments:

Thanks Dennis. My father was a good man who taught me the value of hard work and respect for others and what they have worked for. Two of my best personality traits. And two that I use pretty much everyday.
